Kinobi’s leadership team has been reading “The Hard Thing About Hard Things” by Ben Horowitz. The more I read the book, the more I’m convinced that Marc and Ben sounds like Hafiz and I in terms of personality. Best part is that we have Josh. Ben and Marc don’t have someone like Josh in their team. I guess we stand a better chance not to screw up haha.
Having pitched countless times, to customers, friends who just want to catch up, investors and just all the time across to everyone who asks “What do I do?”… I constantly get back the same answers.
The admiration that we will quit our jobs in the midst of Covid-19. That we don’t just want to be order-takers in the formal sense of the word, but chart the path. In short, I’m glad we’re wired differently.
The struggle has been such a struggle. I was recounting to my wife that it’s like constantly putting yourself out there, increase your chances of getting rejected, and yet being sensitive enough to change, but yet not too insensitive such that you become self-defensive.
Every skillset that I’ve learned is tested now, daily, constantly, moment by moment.
I’ve never prayed the hardest ever. Every meeting - through the door - I just say, “Lord, let Thy will be done. I do my best.”

I’m glad I get to work everyday on something I love and am creating impact on at Kinobi.
Till next time folks. Toodles 😊
